Driving to vegas is no biggie for residents of southern California. I’ve been driving up for unscripted weekend fun since I was a youngster (I utilized to celebration difficult when I was 6). But, for those REReaders who aren’t regional I believed I’d share the journey. It’s about a four hour drive (depending on if you believe in complying with speed limits as well as peeing in an empty bottle).
Ben as well as I got on the road around 12:30pm (on Sunday). If you are doing a Friday to Sunday trip you have to leave early (or super late) or you will deal with a ton of traffic.

After costs an hour as well as a half on the open road we made the obligatory pit stop at In-N-Out. This is totally going to get me dislike comments, however I believe In-N-Out is super overrated.

The fries are soggy as well Camiseta AS Roma as not salty enough.
But, if you still firmly insist on going make sure you order your burger “animal style”. If you’re vegetarian they have a grilled cheese that’s not on the menu.
Then, he took a nap…
And I drove on ultimately leaving all traces of human life as well as entering the expansive desert.
In Baker about an hour away from Vegas, we stopped at the mad Greek Café. Supposedly it’s world famous. I question that, however it is a famous landmark on the drive to as well as from Vegas.
For reference, it’s across the street from the world’s largest thermometer.

I got a lame-o salad since I wasn’t hungry, however believed I should eat something.
And I stole a couple sips of Ben’s strawberry shake. It’s not made with fresh strawbs as well as is just okay. But, the adorable umbrella assists
The salad woke up my hunger as well as I had these nuts I got from the natural products Expo. Love.
Finally, we made it!!! I’m not sure what the plans are for this evening, however I suspect they include something that starts with a “V” as well as ends with “odka”…
