Association of Ringside Physicians officially support Cancellation of battle sports events

With most battle sports promotions respecting public health and wellness warnings as well as government directives to cancel events amidst the ever growing Covid-19 pandemic others are still looking for innovative methods to keep shows going.

This week the association of Ringside Physicians, probably the leading voice when it comes to the common of care for security in combative sports, provided a remove setting statement that events should be cancelled according to CDC guidelines.  The ARP’s full setting is set out below for anyone who has not yet got the message:

The association of Ringside Physician’s official suggestion is that all governing bodies in battle sports abide by present CDC guidelines regarding mass gatherings. As of March 16th, these guidelines suggest the cancelation of all events including ten or more people.
